Description: 

Terraces is the brand name for the classified 

1st Growth vineyard called “Traben Gaispfad”. It is a steep slope

with grey devonian slate soil, spread over 3 terraces which are

planted with RIESLING vines of between 40 – 70 years of age.

This great vineyard produced over the last hundred years elegant

Riesling wines of exquisite finesse, with a strong influence of

minerals and a delightful acidity. Enjoy this refreshing light wine

with salad, fish, grilled white meat or simply by itself.

Score 16/20

Lemony white. Dusty orange-peel aromas. Definitely not bone dry, but piercing acidity gives it mouthwatering

freshness. Plenty of orange and mandarin fruit packed into there, and even a little hint of rooibos tea leaf. Unusual -

not your typical lime-and-honey Mosel trocken. Intriguing. This would be fun to match food with, and probably quite

a good wine for the Christmas table - I'd quite like a bit of duck liver paté right now!
